It's That Part™ · Our Mission

Truth in Every Fact

It's That Part™ was built on the belief that clarity, context, and credibility are not optional features of journalism. They are its core obligations. This is what we stand for, why we exist, and how we measure everything we do.

Our Origin

Why It's That Part™ Exists

We live in an era of unprecedented access to information, as well as unprecedented confusion about what to believe. Headlines move faster than facts and so do lies and misinformation. Algorithms tend to reward outrage over accuracy. Nuance is flattened into quick takes, and context is sacrificed for the clicks.

It's That Part™ was created as a deliberate anti-that environment. The name speaks for itself: the moment when you are watching, reading, or listening to something and you hit that part. The part that matters, the part that changes your understanding, the part that nobody else is talking about. The crux of the subject matter.

Our mission is to find those parts. To be a platform that helps you navigate complexity with truth in every fact, without oversimplifying. You can handle the truth. More importantly, you deserve it.

Founder Jesse Lee Hammonds built this platform with a clear intention to combine original written commentary, curated world (including regional and local) news, legal analysis (as a layman as well as from trained legal experts), faith-informed perspective, and legacy-focused conversation, all in one place, anchored by an uncompromising commitment to Truth in Every Fact™.

Six Pillars

What We Stand For

01

Context Over Clicks

The fastest headline is rarely the most honest one. We slow down deliberately. Every story we cover, whether it is original commentary, curated news, or long-form analysis, is treated as an opportunity to give our readers more than a surface reading. Context is not a luxury. It is the difference between being informed and being misled.

02

Depth Over Volume

We publish less than most outlets. We are not trying to win the volume war. We would rather publish one substantial, well-sourced, original piece than ten thin aggregations. Our readers come to us because they want thinking, not noise. We respect that by being selective, deliberate, and substantive in everything we publish.

03

Voice With Responsibility

It's That Part™ is unambiguously a platform with a perspective. We believe in truth, justice, cultural intelligence, and the power of public discourse rooted in evidence and clarity. That perspective shapes what we cover and how we frame it. But perspective does not excuse dishonesty. Our voice is honest, our sourcing is real, and our accountability is public.

04

Trust Through Transparency

We tell you who we are, where we get our information, and what our editorial values are. We publish correction policies and stick to them. We don't hide behind anonymity or pretend to be something we are not. Trust is not claimed, it is demonstrated over time, one article, one correction, and one editorial decision at a time. It's That Part™

05

Platform and Podcast as One

The It's That Part™ podcast network is not a side project. It is part of the same editorial identity. Whether a topic is explored in a written essay or a podcast episode, it is driven by the same values: truth, clarity, context, and honest engagement. The network covers commentary, faith, law, and legacy, all areas where clear thinking and honest conversation matter deeply.

06

Built for the Long Term

We are not building a viral media machine. We are building a publication that our readers can rely on, today, next year, and a decade from now. Evergreen content, strong editorial standards, and genuine investment in our subject areas are the foundation of something that lasts. That is the long game we are playing.
