A federal prosecutor has upheld the Trump administration’s efforts to prevent transgender and nonbinary people from having passport signs that more accurately reflect their gender identity, giving those people the right to, at the very least, temporarily, have those symbols reinstated. A small concept was established by an administrative order signed by President Donald Trump in January.
