Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown entered a not-guilty plea on Friday for a fee relating to the 2023 major pounding of a music maker with a container in a London nightclub.
Brown, 36, was arraigned in London’s Southwark Crown Court on one matter of attempting to fraudulently and intentionally cause severe bodily harm with goal. He was clad in a blue suit, a white shirt, and black-rimmed glasses.
Omololu Akinlolu, 39, a friend and fellow singer Omololu Akinlolu, who performs under the name” Hoody Baby,” entered a not-guilty plea to not guilty to the same cost.
In February 2023, Brown and Akinlolu recently claimed that Brown and Akinlolu assaulted manufacturer Abe Diaw at a table in the swank Mayfair neighborhood. Brown reportedly launched an unprovoked attack on Diaw, repeatedly hitting him with a drink, and therefore punching and kick him.
According to the prosecution, the assault was recorded on surveillance cameras in front of a team full of people.
After his imprisonment in May, Brown was initially charged with one count of severe physical harm, but prosecutors later added two counts of assault causing real bodily harm and having an offensive weapon, such as a bottle.
Brown responded,” No guiltyma’am,” when a court clerk inquired about how he had pleaded guilty to the grievous bodily harm charge.
After wrapping up his earth visit in Europe, Brown was ordered back in court on July 11 to encounter those claims. He did not enter a plea on those extra works. His test was scheduled for 2026, October 26.
