The federal cabinet has approved a 10% increase in the salaries of government employees. The federal cabinet also approved a 7% increase in pensions.
Consultations on the salaries of government employees and other matters continued despite the principled approval of the budget.
The People’s Party demanded a further increase in salaries. The Federal Finance Minister said that the budget is providing relief to the common man to the maximum extent possible.

The Prime Minister agreed with the proposal and rejected the suggestion of a 6% increase, stating that salaries should be increased by 10%. The Prime Minister and the cabinet approved the decision.
According to sources, the federal cabinet meeting also made special mention of the battle between truth and falsehood. Tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland.
Strong displeasure was expressed over India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.
The Prime Minister said that the country is always ready for national security and defence.
