U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters said she thinks that President Donald Trump’s strikes against Iran “are equivalent to a declaration of war.”
White House members soon condemned President Donald Trump‘s request for the U.S. military to strike Iran, which could stoke a Middle Eastern conflict that the United States has carefully attempted to avoid for a while.

The U.S. attack on Iran was described as a “rash sequel” to Trump’s withdrawal from Obama’s nuclear deal, and it “places the nation’s military and citizens in grave risk,” according to U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C.
The Trump administration’s “operation Midnight Hammer” is a “noble pursuit,” according to the U.S. House assistant democratic leader, who urged Congress to obtain “immediate details” about the military action. Clyburn urged that the Middle East conflict be “pull back from the brink of a full-scale war.”
On Sunday, U.S. Vice President JD Vance declared that the country was “at war” with Iran but that it was “at war with its nuclear program.”

The senator cited a larger concern among members of Congress that Trump had sparked a new Middle East conflict by implying that Iran was developing nuclear weapons, which the director of national intelligence of Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, testified before Congress before the court, was not the case.
Trump “discusses the assessment of his own national intelligence advisers,” Warnock said, “and ] has now erupted into a Middle East conflict.” He has not sought congressional approval or adequately explained why this action is necessary at the moment.
