Create a better and healthier you! Create a better and healthier you! Create a better and healthier you!

Summertime is a time for reading. At least for a while, function does slow down a little. I’m less likely to travel as much to talk and educate. It’s time for school. I spend more time at the river. In reality, I’ve probably spent more time reading on a sofa next to a river than anywhere else. On that couch, I’ve read a lot of books, including history, literature, and theology. It helps me get my mind in the right place to unwind and focus.

As we approach the flower 2025 time, one of my favorite guests returns to Gospelbound to discuss summertime reading. The Gospel Coalition’s vice chairman for sanctification programming, Melissa Kruger, and cohost of the acclaimed novel podcast The Deep Dish. We discussed why we enjoy reading and why reading is also important in the age of AI and social media. Additionally, we provided dozens of guide comments in a variety of styles.
